Bank of China features Allard J2X MkII

The world’s second largest bank, the Bank of China, featured the new Allard J2X MkII in its December luxury magazine edition. The 5-page feature describes the new Allard, its entry into the Chinese market and provided select customers (350,000) with a number of photos to whet their appetite. A J2X MkII delivered to Allard Motor Works’ exclusive importer, Jimmer’s Classic Collectibles of Shanghai, is powered by a 5.7 L fuel-injected Chrysler Hemi V8, catalytic converters and EU lighting to comply with emission and safety requirements for China. China has adopted EU emission standards. In 2012 and beyond, Allard Motor Works will be making available fully emisson-compliant V8 engines, from General Motors and from Chrysler. These new engines are specifically designed to meet and exceed the State of California’s strict emission laws- the toughest in the world.
The newest generation of US emission-compliant V8’s shatters the myth that pollution equipment reduces performance. The GM E-Rod engine delivers 100 hp more than non-compliant GM RamJet fuel-injected V8! This is the best of both worlds, and Allard Motor Works fully endorses this move.
