Allard J2X MkII Shoots for Global Presence
New shipping cost estimates released

Montreal, May 24, 2007 – Increasing profile, word-of-mouth and solid testimonials have set the stage for a growing international interest in the new Allard J2X MkII roadster. Modeled after the legendary Allard J2X British competition roadster, the modern version of the J2X, built by Allard Motor Works of Montreal, is catching the attention from sports car aficionados around the world. To meet the needs of the global marketplace, the limited production J2X MkII is offered in both left-hand drive and right-hand drive. The signature V8 power plants of most original competition Allards, is maintained in the J2X MkII, but uses current versions of the Chrysler Hemi, of the Cadillac engine and the GM performance fuel-injected V8, the RamJet. The required adjustments are made to the new J2X to comply with regional safety and emission standards.

The high profile of the Allard J2X MkII, generated by extensive media exposure and event participation, has created a significant amount of queries related to the purchase of this new vehicle and the shipping costs involved. As such, Allard Motor Works has worked out, with Affiliated Transport, a few transportation scenarios that should provide a fairly accurate costing of the door-to-door delivery service.
