Allard West President, Dennis Glavis, welcomes the arrival of the new J2X MkII. “This is a high quality modern roadster that will appeal to sports car aficionados, whether they are looking for a reliable touring car, or a hot performer.” With lineage dating back to the mid-1950s, the new J2X adds the reliability, comfort and performance of today’s cars. The limited hand-crafted Allard responds to those seeking a high “WOW-factor, a retro look and quality. The new Allard J2X MkII is hand built to exacting quality standards and is equipped with the latest performance components to ensure reliability. The roadster is offered with three engine options: the GM duel-injected RamJet 350, the Chrysler 5.7L and 6.1L Hemi engines. Also offered are a full width removable windshield with wipers, and a canvas top (in 2010). “The original J2X was well known in California during the Golden Years of sports car racing.
